The rumor is that “7 ate 9,” and 6 worries that he’s next. Private I immediately sets out to investigate, soon discovering that all is not what it seems in the world of numbers…
This story follows a Private Detective shaped like an I named Al F. Bet as he tries to solve the mystery of what happened to 9. In a very detective noir plot, 6 rushed into the office upset because 7 was after him.
This plot develops unexpectedly but Al is not irrational…(See what I did there?)…he knows that there is more going on than meets the eye.

This is just really fun. The main character, Mo (full name Moses), is a crime detecting 12 year old with her best friend Dale in tow.
They’re an odd bunch–Mo has a strong command of vocabulary, and Dale takes things literally so much that Mo must always whisper, “rhetorical,” when he starts to answer a rhetorical question.

Cam Jansen is a young girl with a photographic memory that has a pension for solving mysteries.
One day while waiting in the mall with a friend Eric, they see that there is a commotion at the jewelry store.
They see many different people come running out of the store before the police arrive and Cam learns that the store has been robbed.
Using her excellent memory, Jan recalls that immediately after hearing the alarm she saw a man with a mustache run out of the store, then a young couple with a baby and two older female friends left.
All of these people were gone by the time the police arrived and chased after the first man that left.
When the police returned to the store with the man, they were told that he was not the one that stole the jewelry.
With the police thoroughly confused, Cam decides that it is up to herself and Eric to solve this mystery.
They decide to follow the mustached man to a house not far from the mall.
Once there, Erica and Cam see that he is meeting with the young couple from the store. Cam enters the building while Eric looks for the police officers.
After a close call, Cam discovers that all three worked together to steal diamonds, and Eric arrives with the police to arrest the thieves.

Emily is an avid reader but also an avid member of the Book Scavenger game founded by Garrison Griswold.
She is working up the ranks in the game, with the aim to achieve the highest detective status.

Griswold lives in San Francisco, and Emily has just moved there with her family –

However, Emily soon finds out that Griswold was attacked and lies in critical condition leaving the local scavenger hunt cancelled.
She is severely disappointed of course, and befriends her neighbour James, who takes her and Matthew on a tour of the city, unintentionally leading them to the location of the attack.
There, Emily finds a brand new book by Edgar Allen Poe in the bin, which she mistook for a book left by another Book Scavenger.
So she takes it, and leaves her membership card.
This begins a tale of adventure, mystery and suspense, with Emily and James right in the middle of it.
Unaware, Emily had not just taken the book that the attackers were looking for, and are now on her tail, but also the first clue to the start of the local scavenger hunt game that Griswold had planned before his untimely attack.
Realizing all of this, Emily is determined to finish the game with the help of James, and occasionally, her brother Matthew, getting herself in all sorts of trouble.
